After 8 rewarding years in the healthcare industry as a medical devices regulatory and quality professional, I came to the realization that I was way too comfortable. I was no longer learning or growing as a person, and something had to change.
Since I was a teenager, one of my favorite hobbies has been building websites and blogging. I've always been the "go to gal" for friends, family, and employers on all things tech, and the hours fly by for me when tinkering in WordPress, domain control panels, HTML, CSS, Google Analytics, and Photoshop.
In 2017, I began a career transition into web development and I look forward to applying my new skills in a full time position.
In late 2017, I started learning to program through an alumni program at my college. I'm supplementing my learning with courses at Treehouse and projects at freeCodeCamp.
I love that I get to solve problems creatively and constantly learn new things.
