The Jr. Programmer/Analyst is an entry level IT programming position that will work and learn under the guidance and in collaboration of the Sr. Programmer/Analyst in an exciting non-profit environment servicing clientele in a organization of highly dedicated and compassionate employees.

Jr. Programmer/Analyst Essential Functions:
Under the direction of the Sr. Programmer/Analyst:
Code Power BI reporting
Design and implement Power Apps for write back functionality.
Analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specs.
Achieve knowledge that demonstrates database technical functionality such as performance, security, and reliability.
Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and staff.
Should understand and be able to contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
Define technical roadmaps in collaboration with the Sr. Programmer/Analyst and product owners, refine the requirement and come up with the estimations.
Learn to design and build internal Snowflake applications. Transferring data and internal processes to cloud architecture
Acquire skills for developing and tuning the Snowflake jobs/environment to improve the performance.
Acquire skills for intelligent monitoring of the jobs to check the job status and resource utilization.
Assist in scaling of the jobs to handle large data and to meet the execution time requirement.

Achieve skills for application of Data Quality and Validation rules at every stage of data processing.
Assist with the migration of data and platform to the Snowflake platform.

Jr. Programmer/Analyst Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in MIS or equivalent technical area
Knowledge of or successful completion of classes in:
- SQL
- Data warehouse
- Snowflake (preferred)
- Power BI or other visualization software
- Multiple Programming Languages (Json, Python, etc)
- Exposure to or understanding of low-code connector software (Fivetran, Workato etc.)
- Intermediate to Advanced Office Suite.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills.
