Software developer-Machine Learning Engineer
I am a UC Berkeley undergrad with more than 3 years of experience in programming and 3 years of experience in administrative/executive positions. It has been an amazing experience to collaborate with different companies. I always do my best because I like making a positive impact in our world.
I like Neural Networks, developing educational software and also anything related to Autonomous driving.
I am hoping to work for two years so that I can return to UC Berkeley to complete my last 2 semesters, my last year and graduate.
Before transferring to UC Berkeley I had the chance to be an Intern of the main Network Security Engineer of the Foothill-DeAnza College District. I was also part of the Educational Technology Advisory Committee of the school district. That was what awoke my interest in programming. In 2011 I became an expert in Mathematica and I began to get familiar with Fortran. Then I jumped to Java and C++. Finally when I transferred to UC Berkeley I dove into Python, Scheme, C, Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, Algorithms and Data Structures and Computer Architecture. Later through Stanford University I felt attracted towards Machine Learning. I learned to program in Octave, about Neural Networks, and finally I continued learning in Udacity. I had to defer my graduation from UC Berkeley because I need to raise more money in order to graduate.
How ideas turn into real life solutions through the code. At the end of all the hard work, when running the final version of the program it feels like magic.
