I'm a mathematically inclined professional looking to make a long-term career shift into software development.

I started learning to program in gradeschool, everything from Fortran to C and C++. That's where it started. From there, I learned Java before college, but used it extensively in college. I'm self-taught in Python and JavaScirpt, which are two of my favorite languages right now.

Problem-solving, fast feedback, analysis of complex systems, streamlining processes, working with other analytically inclined, "sharp" people.
