I'm a recent graduate of Fullstack Academy. After nearly a decade in NYC high-rise construction I decided to pursue a radical transition to a field that fulfills and challenges me intellectually in a way that was lacking in my previous career.

I attended Fullstack Academy bootcamp, an immersive 17 week software development bootcamp that taught full stack JavaScript using Node, Express, React, Redux, and Sequelize along with PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS and more.

I love solving problems. I find great reward in taking a difficult problem, breaking it down into its component parts, and spending time and effort ticking off that list one by one, watching the previously insurmountable problem become smaller and smaller. I also love challenges relating to data structures and algorithms, trying to find optimal solutions to manipulating data. Programming stimulates the same part of my brain that loves solving puzzles, or learning generally. It is an enormously rewarding pursuit.
