I’m a software developer who is really keen on attention to detail. I’ve been coding for 4 years now, started out with hobby programming projects. I try to push myself to learn new languages and tools when I start projects so that I can expand on my skillset and to build more complex and impressive software. But at the end of the day, the goal is to have fun building it as much as it is to learn from building it.
I picked up programming as a hobby when I was young, first starting with game programming. Then I worked on coding projects while I was a Computer Science & Engineering student at the University of Washington. While most of what I know is self-taught through projects, I hope to reinforce good practices with more professional experience.
Programming's biggest appeal for me is its empowerment of developers in being able to execute on any idea or problem. The tools and resources required are always within reach, and the possibilities really do seem endless. One of my projects was a game mod that started out in a bleak landscape with myself having no knowledge of C# or any documentation for the modding framework. Since then, the mod garnered over 1 million total downloads and has given me confidence in building anything and taught me how to seek the resources necessary to learn.
