Back in '96 I took intro to programming (C++) at UCLA and excelled. Since then I'd dabbled in JavaScript and PHP. Last year I decided to go full time and eventually joined Coding Dojo in Silicon Valley to refine my skills and learn the industries most current best practices.

Programming brings a plan to life. All good projects are 90% planning, often weeks and weeks of meetings, wireframing, giving input, receiving feedback, etc. And once a plan is in place then the "real" fun begins! There is nothing like starting from scratch and bringing an idea to life on the web.
