I am a trained programmer with over 5 years of classroom practice as well as on the job experience. I have ample experience collaborating with groups to finish larger projects. Over the past year, my projects have been aimed at demonstrating my knowledge of Android in practical use cases. I strive to become an expert at Android to earn my spot working with a team of developers to create the next big app.

I have spent the past year learning Android through Udacity's Android Nanodegree course taught by Google. Taking this course really strengthened my knowledge of Java and enabled me to create Android apps the correct way. Prior to that, my programming knowledge came from learning C++ in college and Java in high school.

I love the challenge of programming. There is no better feeling than figuring out a solution to a problem that you have been stumped on. I also love learning new techniques and information that were previously a mystery to me.
