Having worked as a Doctor in the U.K since July 2018 and through the pandemic, I have realised spending time with those around me is what I value the most. I am looking for a career in which I can work hard and achieve results but one which allows me to have a full and wide-ranged personal life. I am a committed and dedicated individual, who has experience in dealing with high pressure situations. I have invaluable experience both as an integral team member and team leader attending medical emergencies and dealing with difficult decision making. What interested me the most in medicine was the machine-like intricacy of the human body, a trait that has lead me to technology and software development. My logical and problem solving skills learned through diagnosing patients based on symptoms, put me in a good stead to start a career in the technology industry. I have accrued experience working as a backend software engineer in the Fintech industry. Operating in the payments products space, I helped develop and implement an internal payments system with a microservices architecture, that emphasised testability, accuracy and efficiency.
