Creative, detail-oriented, software engineer with a deep interest in full-stack engineering. Proven track record of creating and implementing successful web applications. Looking to bring my skills to a tech company with global reach.
In high school, I discovered my passion for programming while tinkering with video game files and altering game elements, igniting my desire to learn software development. However, due to financial constraints and family circumstances, I couldn't pursue a college education immediately. Instead, I entered the workforce, striving to support my family. It wasn't until my son sparked my interest in coding again while trying to update a game engine that I embarked on a self-taught journey. Initially dabbling in web development through online resources like Codecademy and Udemy, I attempted to land junior front-end web developer roles but struggled due to a lack of in-depth understanding. This prompted me to explore different paths, eventually leading me to enroll in a full-stack boot camp, which provided hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of software development. Despite completing the boot camp, my learning journey continues as I dive into data structures, algorithms, and various programming languages, aiming to adapt and grow with evolving industry trends.
What I like most about programming is the limitless creativity and problem-solving it offers. It's like having a blank canvas and a toolbox of concepts and tools to create virtually anything I can imagine. I enjoy the process of breaking down complex problems into smaller, manageable pieces and then using logical thinking and code to solve them. There's a sense of satisfaction when lines of code come together to create functional and elegant solutions. Additionally, programming provides a continuous learning journey. There's always something new to explore, whether it's a new programming language, framework, or technology. This constant evolution keeps the field exciting and ensures that there's always room for personal growth and development. Lastly, I appreciate the collaborative aspect of programming; working with others on projects, sharing knowledge, and being part of a global community of developers is both rewarding and enriching.
