{ Dancer && Developer }
I'm a full-stack web developer and full-time thrill seeker.
I'm a dancer who has been cooped up in a camp for the past 3 months working tirelessly towards becoming a developer, with the need of a new creative outlet where I can prove and better myself.
I'm also in need of a job, but I figured you knew that already.
I just recently graduated in August from Dev Bootcamp in San Francisco!
Now I'm focusing on solidifying my knowledge of Vanilla JS, CSS and will see where I end up later!
This is where I'd normally talk about how I love visuals and how I'm dying to learn more about UX and UI concepts.
Instead, I just want to say that I love how programming provides me with such a huge playground. Literally. I feel like I'm a kid all over again.
There are just so many things that you can tinker with as a programmer, especially as a new programmer. There are a bunch of things that I want to mess around with, but there's also things that I'm a bit hesitant to try. But then when you think about playgrounds, you think about there being a lot of kids. Those kids are all of the other programmers out there. And once you make some new friends, you get gutsy and start trying out those things that you were too scared of trying out on your own.
You could just sit in your own sandbox all day building something the way you want to build it, but seriously, why limit yourself to just a sandbox?
At the very least, build a sand fortress and start a friendly war with the other kids, am I right?
