Hi, I’m Jack. I’m a 27 year old front end web developer from Brisbane, Australia. With an extensive background in marketing and promotions I've seen some large scale and rather rapid changes towards richer, more intricate web and application based campaigns. When clients started asking for custom made websites as well as added functionality to their existing sites, I decided it was time to develop my front end web development skills to further meet the demands of the industry.

Over the past 12 months I began to dig into JavaScript and learn how to program web apps. I thoroughly enjoy the problem solving nature of programming and love working with others to find optimal solutions for a more enjoyable web experience.

I am currently learning Angular 2 and would love to use it in my next role :)

I have enrolled in web development courses on Udemy, Treehouse, Codeschool as well as Free Code Camp and have worked on a variety of personal and commercial projects which you can find in my portfolio.

I love the problem solving nature of programming. It keeps your brain sharp and continually pushes me to think differently. I really enjoy working with others and talking about code. There are just so many creative and intriguing ways to solve a challenge!

Creating functions and building custom website features is exciting and finishing up and handing over a website or web app project is such a satisfying feeling :)
