I have quite a bit of professional experience in the Insurance and Commercial Real Estate industries, but now it's my turn to pursue my passion—which is code! I'm an aspiring Software Engineer that can't get enough time in front of a terminal!

I was exposed years and years ago to HTML, CSS, and some rudimentary JS in college. Soon after I learned of backend frameworks for web development, such as Django, or Ruby on Rails. My interest was piqued, so I began to dive into Python, and quickly fell in love. Since then, I'm constantly reading about Web and Data Development with Python, and even took a few MITx courses through edx.org to formalize my learning on the frontend. I've found a few small projects in my current position to utilize my new skills, and am looking for new projects of any kind anywhere to help cement my understanding and keep growing.

I love being able to come up on a problem and solve it, with nothing but some data types and logic! There's something about being to write code yourself that is very empowering and exciting!
