o Virtual vending machine. Developed an application to model processes of a vending machine. An interactive web-based UI allowed a user to “insert” money and select an item from the menu displayed.
Technologies used: HTML, CSS/Bootstrap, JSPs using EL and JSTL, servlets, Java 8 EE, Spring MVC.
o Hotel reservation database. Designed a database that would allow a hotel to track and manage room reservations, customer and guest information, promotions, rooms and other chargeable items, and invoices.
Technologies used: MySQL database, MySQL Workbench, SQL, MS Excel.
o Superhero Sightings reporting system. Developed a web-based CRUD application allowing enterprise users to catalogue various details about fictional superheroes and document instances where they were seen.
Technologies used: MySQL, HTML, CSS, JSPs using EL and JSTL, servlets, Java, Spring MVC, TDD using JUnit.
o Content Management system. Developed a full stack, web-based content management system for small business use. The site owner could write blog posts to market their business, create static pages, and manage other users with permission to write blog posts to be published only upon owner/admin approval.
Technologies used: MySQL, Java, JSPs, TinyMCE, Spring MVC, Spring DI, Spring Security, Tomcat, TDD.

• Calculate and record sales and corresponding commissions. Wrote scripts in VBA to aggregate monthly factored sales data for reconciliation and to streamline statement generation for external reporting.
• Create and maintain reconciliation schedules on inventory, debt, accrued interest, and sales and COGS.
• Assist in preparation of GAAP financial statements with MG&A. Furnish support for calendar-year audits/exams.

Senior within the Business Management practice. Managed full cycle accounting and prepared periodic GAAP financial statements and reports for clients in film production, commercial real estate, and solar energy plant development.

Performed reconciliation, reporting, and analysis of the company's cash position (daily and monthly), costing and internal audit of inventory, compliance with miscellaneous state and local agencies, commission calculations, and capital leases. After promotion to Senior Accountant, carried on staff duties while assisting controller in the more complex pain points within the accounting function, namely capitalization of unbilled freight and forex translations involved in intercompany transations with international subsidiary.

Handled the accounting for all inventory movement for the then-startup CPG. Recorded all sales transactions and production entries, and reconciled to warehouse counts. Also, recorded entries and maintained reconciliation schedules pertaining to accrued interest, prepaid insurance, and fixed assets.
