Hello! I'm Joe, and I am a Full Stack Developer. My areas of expertise include building and consuming RESTful APIs, producing single page applications, and creating interactive and responsive UI.

I learned Web Development through self teaching; a few years ago I tinkered with Basic, Python, and finally JavaScript. After JavaScript, I set my sights on Web Development and proceeded to direct myself through books, online exercises, and personal projects. I've found personal projects to be the best way to learn and establish direction regarding where to dig deep on certain topics.

I find programming to be an exciting union of creativity and problem solving. A given language provides the tools to materialize an imagined concept. A given concept typically encompasses multiple constraints. The potential of a concept, meets the concept's constraints, meets the constraints of the medium leads to a creative endeavor to balance various constraints of multiple levels, while striving to preserve the integrity of the concept's potential.
