John Mazuch
Junior Software / Web Developer - 1 year, 8 months, and counting
My name is John Mazuch, and I am a very innovative Junior Software / Web Developer. I have an inexhaustible work ethic and find working to be fun. Combined with my passion for technology and ability to think analytically, I am a powerhouse looking to be harnessed.
After obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I went back to college a second time to try for engineering school. I learned MATLAB, followed by taking courses in Team Treehouse in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After that, I decided to apply for the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship for Front End Development last year. A few months later, I was awarded the scholarship this January, in addition to having already enrolled in Udacity's Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree. I am a year and eight months into this journey and am learning everything that I can in web development. I currently have a portfolio ready for review by employers. This portfolio currently features HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Python, and features a variety of different projects and concepts.
Being an undergraduate in the field of Psychology, and that I am, by nature, a highly analytical and creative thinker, I have found that programming allows me to exercise all of my mental abilities. I have done public speaking before and it is a dream to, one day, be able to be a keynote speaker and CEO in the tech field. To be able to build innovative solutions that people can use every day is my ultimate goal.
