Kevin Merritt
I've always had a strong desire to stay active and build things from the ground up. Whether it be a pine desk, an entire sports league, or a new website I continually find I'm at my best and most excited when focusing on a project.
Recently, I graduated from General Assembly's Web Development Immersive. This program gave me the skills and desire to take my first steps towards joining the tech industry. I'm excited to network and collaborate with other individuals who enjoy the eccentricity, alacrity, and intelligence prevalent in this community of remarkable individuals.
I learned a bit of Java, Pascal, and basic programming techniques in high school and college. After university I spent a few years learning networking, hardware, linux, and basic troubleshooting while working as a mechanical engineer for a globally recognized food manufacturer. Most recently I graduated from General Assembly and am continually learning new languages and frameworks.
I most enjoy the construction and problem solving nature of developing. Devising intricate paths to solving each obstacle as it arises.
