Main tasks:
- Reception and substantiation of complaints related to alleged human rights violations.
- Communication with public bodies and complainants.
- Investigation, preparation of technical reports, and drafting of resolutions.
- Systematization of complaints and resolutions.
- Legal case management.
- Collaboration with the Mental Health Area in the interdisciplinary approach to situations, technical advice on legal cases, and preparation of reports.
- Participation in the National Human Rights Assembly.
- Participation in various interdisciplinary and inter-institutional working groups.

Initially as a student and later as a lawyer, I collaborated as a volunteer performing the following tasks:

Interviewing and advising clients.
Conducting extrajudicial procedures with public bodies and private institutions.
Handling judicial processes (drafting legal documents, managing legal files, and attending hearings), primarily related to access to health and housing.
A notable achievement was that in 2018, I promoted the first action for protection (amparo) in Uruguay, in which the Uruguayan State was ordered, for the first time, to recognize the dual maternity of a non-married same-sex couple regarding their daughters born through assisted fertilization. This action not only brought visibility to the issue but also set an important precedent, subsequently leading to more similar judicial actions.

University research on gender-based violence (GBV) in the university setting.

The objective was to analyze the policies and educational practices adopted by the University of the Republic for the prevention and sanctioning of GBV. Particularly, services that reached level 1 of the Gender Equity Quality Model and the Faculty of Law, as our alma mater, were observed.

Actions carried out within the three university functions—teaching, research, and extension—and institutional actions corresponding to the period from 2015 to 2020 were documented through sources and interviews. This allowed for the identification of existing strengths and challenges in mainstreaming the gender perspective.

Finally, good practices were evidenced, and some actions were proposed to ensure the right to education in violence-free spaces.
