I'm a 28 years old currently living and working in St. Louis, Missouri as a junior web developer for Cotton Babies Inc..

What initially got me into programming was the idea that I could one day create my own video games. I first started teaching myself to program about 2 years ago with a Ruby course through codecademy.com. Upon discovering that Java was the native language for android development, I started learning Java with the help of a free Java MOOC offered by the University of Helsinki. After completing the course, I fiddled around with Android Studio and created a few silly apps. Feeling like I needed to learn more pf the science part of computer science, I found a non-profit organization called Launchcode that was offering a course that included Harvard's CS50 course for free.

I love the problem solving aspect.
