Raxce Eclar

Software Engineer for Progeny Systems Corporation

Are you looking for someone that wants to grow in the field of computer science, works well with others, AND wants to make a positive impact in your company? Well, I'm glad you found my profile!

My technical expertise includes experience in 4 scripting/programming languages (including Java and JavaScript), and knowledge of developer methodologies and best practices (including object-oriented design and client/server architecture).

My current position with Progeny has given me the experience of working with a dedicated team in an Agile environment to develop and maintain a robust web application for the Navy and Marine Corps.

I've worked on projects that dealt with computer networking as well as object-oriented design such as creating an overlay routing system and a Chess game in Java. Programming, for me, has evolved from just being an assignment to a passion.

Through my retail experience, I've gained valuable customer service and teamwork skills that I can transfer to this field. It has given me the exceptional skills of understanding what the client wants and being able to deliver it in a timely manner.

Please reach out to me if you have further inquiries!

Fun Fact: My first name is pronounced Ace.

Attended UMD and received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science
