I have been in the field as a Front End Developer for a year now and have many months prior which were dedicated to study. In my first role I was cutting & slicing up PSD’s and coding landing pages using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/jQuery. I also was beginning to learn how to build/implement API’s before I had transferred into a new role that was a better fit for me. In my second role I built the front end for 4 of the company’s websites which are now generating all of the company’s revenue. These sites were built using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/jQuery, PHP & MYSQL. I built out the front-end and our PHP Developer had built out our back end. I believe that I can fit in anywhere I go. I was teaching myself HTML and CSS and had come across Dev Bootcamps. I fell in love with the idea of going from Zero to Hero in a matter of months and started applying to schools. I was accepted at 3 separate Dev Bootcamps and had decided on the one I thought would be best for me. I attended DevPoint Labs based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a 3 month course which was focused on Full Stack Ruby on Rails. 40 hours a week for 3 months non-stop learning and growing, that doesn't even include the after hours and time I spent on my own after the day ended! All-in-All it was one of the best experiences of my life and has helped me grow substantially!

I love when people ask me to fix their printer for them because they know nothing about software or programming and think that I am some sort of repair man for computers! Haha But seriously software/programming is my passion. What I like most about it is that I could build something from scratch that people can use globally. That's a very impressive talent to have. I also really enjoy traveling and like the fact that no matter where I am in this world, if I have my laptop and wifi connection I could work from anywhere!
