I'm a operations manager at a real estate valuation company who has been a career sleepwalker in the mortgage banking realm. I have always wanted to be in the technology sector, specifically in information security and as a long-term goal, I will obtain a CISM Certification. For me, coding is a pathway towards that goal.

Three years ago, I was appointed to manage a software project at work and became fascinated with production and design. Thereafter, I wanted to learn how to create applications and web pages that are clean & useful. Last year, I took that first step in a 1000 mile journey and enrolled at Bloc.io in the Web Developer Program.

I like to be challenged. Coding can be overwhelming but when you get it right, the sense of accomplishment is what I like most.
