Ever since I was young, I've always had a passion for languages of all kinds, and through that passion, I created my first website when I was sixteen and began my journey. My interest didn't stop with the digital environment, I went on to learn the Japanese language in college. After school, I developed an unyielding perseverance to expose myself to the tech world as I did when I was younger. With my rekindled fire of learning languages in the digital world, I've devoted my time into learning as much as I possibly can in the front end designing area of web.
Designing and developing has given me a way to channel my creativity and my yearning to create. Growing up, I never forgot my love of digital languages and art. Being able to pursue my love of problem solving and creating through developing has been a dream come true.
In the beginning, I taught myself HTML but later went to school for a different purpose. As my desires grew towards the technology world I decided to enroll at the code school Epicodus. As a current graduate of Epicodus and being part of a tech bootcamp, the first and foremost aspect I've able to learn how to strategically balance workload with the amount of information each week. Each week is a different aspect of the language at hand. I have been able to learn how to build websites and web applications exercising newfound knowledge of HTML, CSS, Sass, Javascript, version control software, behavior driven development and designing concepts while writing clean code. More importantly, I've been able to learn how to work with great people and able to advance my interpersonal skills while practicing pair programming.
Quickly learning how to manage time with deadlines being the current day or in a week has been been one of my keys to success. I've also adapted to being on the edge with troubleshooting and always creatively problem solving. Every day is a new day, with a new exciting project to look forward to.
Programming has always been a medium to channel my creativity through coding. I love being challenged to solve problems on a regular basis.
