I've always been passionate about solving the problems others didn't even know were problems. In every position I've held, I've found broken models, missing pieces, and outdated tools that held up the works.
Combining this innate perception with creative, collaborative, and iterative design is my passion. Solving complex, obscure or unknown problems is my goal. If I can do it with "the web", that's the icing on the cake.
I initially learned to program through self-paced online training on Lynda.com. I developed a love for programming and information technology and decided to enroll in Brigham Young University to pursue my BS in Information Technology. I have since continued to learn even more on Lynda and other online training sites, as well as through my degree at BYU. I expect to finish my degree at the end of 2017.
There are very few situations where one will be able to learn new concepts and ideas, contribute to a team, and solve complex problems all in the same hour. Software development is one of those situations. I gain a great sense of satisfaction at solving complex problems with software and web technologies.
