Hi! I'm Chantelle Becker -- a 20-something who realized very quickly after college and a few average financial office jobs that I needed more. I needed to be challenged, I needed to be in an environment and field where I would constantly be learning, and I needed to feel like I was making an impact. The second I began my education in programming, I realized it was exactly what I was looking for. I thrive on the energy of completing tasks while racing the clock and learning new things every day. I'm a hard-working, fast learner with a strong desire to absolutely crush whatever position I am in. I've always been extremely self-motivated, and cannot give less than 100%.

I completed a Full-Stack Code Immersion Course with Tech Talent South in Raleigh, NC. Our primary focus during the bootcamp was Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, and Git with a little bit of JavaScript and jQuery. Since I graduated in November 2016, I have been working at a local Raleigh software development company as a Junior Web Developer focusing on back-end programming and learning C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Visual Studio, and MS SQL Server.

I love the challenge and I love the organization and structure required for a program to run. I'm somewhat type-A and very detail oriented by nature, so working in the back end of programming and on the database side of things is like a dream -- everything has it's place.
